Retainer-Based Services
For organizations that need ongoing support, a retainer agreement best meets their needs.
Why a Retainer?
Hiring a full-time grant professional in-house would typically cost you close to $100,000 per year at the going rate, once salary, benefits, and payroll taxes are included. A monthly retainer offers a more flexible alternative, providing access to experienced grant support without the overhead or long-term commitment of a full-time hire. Rather than focusing only on proposal development, we help organizations make thoughtful decisions about where to invest limited time and energy, so staff can stay focused on the mission instead of chasing funding that is not a strong fit.
How It Works
You receive a set number of hours each month that can be used for any combination of services, including research, writing, editing, coaching, or strategy development.
Retainers start at $1,500 per month (20 hours) with a minimum three-month commitment. Unused hours roll forward at no additional cost. Work beyond retainer hours is billed at $75 per hour.
Hourly or Project-Based Services
If you need targeted support, such as an extra set of eyes to edit grant proposals you’ve already written, coaching you on strategy, or completing a single LOI or application, we offer hourly services at $85 per hour. We are happy to scope a project that fits your needs based on the services listed above.
